Happy Birthday Megan
9/30/06 Megan celebrated her 7th birthday. Mom prepared a nice environment for a luau birthday party. All of the girls took home a tote with slippers! So cute. Even the birthday cake was pretty pink ukulele! 
Most of the girls were veterans to hula, but we had a couple of newbees that shook their booties for the first time.
An hour goes by so fast when you're having fun! We made stickercards, Sang Aloha Song, and Ipu Song, Danced a new Hapa Haole Hula, and had story time. Did someone say, "Stickers?"
Is this Marsha's story face? The girls had a lot to say about Pele. We read a new book titled, Popoki's Incredible Adventure at the Volcano by Diana Gleasner
Some girls thought Pele was tall with long firey red and orange hair, and some girls thought she was young with jet black hair. All of them believe in Pele.
Happy Birthday Isabelle
Isabelle turned 7 in August. She had a wonderful party! Mom prepared skirts for all of the girls and on the agenda before karaoke---??? HULA! We made sticker cards with our names on it, learned basic steps, an danced an entire hula about paniolo, and read, Too Many Curls by Mariyln Kahalewai
