Exposure is Education. Many of the kids in Idaho have little exposure to other cultures, languages and music. Joy is continuing the Hulabootie philosophy that everyone can enjoy hula regardless of age, ability. or background. We create an environment for the children that is free and informal. We learn through books, music, games and allow children to think and perform at their own pace and comfort level.

Marsha and Momo
Aloha Everyone! I'm Marsha. Hula has been my love since I was a child. Hulabootie has been my tag thanks to my big bootie! I've been living in Japan for almost 7 years, and have been teaching hula for 4 years in Tokyo. My baby Avalon was born in Japan and she too seems to have the hula gene.
フラブーティに出会って4年目になります。 マーシャと楽しい時間をいつも一緒に過ごしています。 以前ティアレポリネシアンダンサーズで踊っていた事からフラダンスの他に、タヒシアンやマオリダンス等の経験もあり、 今後も幅広く色々な踊りを様々な場所で踊っていきたいです。 Momo
Kaimana and Marsha
Kaimanaは9歳から踊り始め、Hu'luaのKumu Kawailaniからカヒコを中心に学びました。
10歳のときKaimanaはMoloka'iとLa'ieのKumu Hula Richard Petersから本格的な指導を受けます。このRichard Petersはオアフ島ノースショーにあるポリネシアカルチャーセンターでハワイアンダンス、チャント、カルチャーの担当をしています。
高校時代はHalau Napuananionapalioko'lauのKumu Hula Sunday Mariteragiの下でフラの指導を受けました。さらに2年間Kahuku高校のフラクラブの代表を務めました。
1993年メリーモナックフラフェスティバルでハラウと一緒に出演しました。Kumu Hula Keith AwaiとEllen Gay Dela Rosaはポリネシアカルチャーセンターでハワイアンプロダクションの担当をしていますが一緒に踊りました。
1994年Annual Kualoa Park Hula Campに参加してゲストのKumu Hula Victoria Takamine Holt、Ellen Castillio、Kaulana Kasparovichから指導を受けました。
1996－1999年Boise州立大学にてHui-O-Aloha Clubの代表を務め、５０以上のショーパフォーマンスを担当しました。また大学の最初のLuauでは500人以上の参加者を集めました。
2000年沖縄オンナソンの沖縄ルネッサンスホテルにてTihatiプロダクションとともにフラを披露しました。
現在はDream Cruisesのエンタテインメントマネージャーを務めています。
